The storage area includes a 12,000 m² computer managed warehouse for packaged products with a storage pallet system that can host up to maximum of 11,000 pallets. The transportation of finished products from the filling lines to storage is carried out through a shuttle that connects the two plant departments. The warehouse is managed by a computer-integrated bar code system reading facility which controls all movement and allocation operations. SLI can locate in real time the exact position of every single pallet, from the moment it leaves the production line until it is loaded on a lorry. The loading of trucks is carried out directly inside the storage room through a loading system that can service 8 trucks at the same time. In addition to the storage facilities for packaged products there are also 11,000 m³ tanks for the storage of bulk products and non-lubricants.
